About the Building

UCI Medical Center in Orange is full service hospital and clinical care center, along with providing teaching services for students from UCI School of Medicine. With 417 beds, this medical facility is active around the clock, 7 days a week.

What We Did

UCI Medical Center Building 31 underwent a full upgrade of the boiler equipment and piping systems along with seismic upgrades. This required highly critical shutdowns as there could not be an impact to the hospital. Systems included ammonia lines, high pressure steam, NH3 purge lines, and large diameter exhaust.
